Why we built it

CEOs, members of Congress, Wall Street analysts, and big funds all have to disclose their trades. The filings are public. They are also slow to read, spread across a dozen sites, and easy to miss.

TradeTexts reads them for you. When a new filing lands, we write a short, plain-English note on what happened and why it might matter. If you want, we text you when a stock you follow shows up.

What we track

• Insider trades. Form 4 buys and sells by company officers and directors.
• Congress trades. Stock trades members of Congress report under the STOCK Act.
• Analyst ratings. Upgrades, downgrades, and price target changes.
• 13F filings. Quarterly position changes at large funds.
