How instant alerts are made

Each instant alert starts from a public record: an SEC filing (Form 4 insider trades, 13F institutional holdings), a congressional STOCK Act disclosure, or a public analyst rating change. Our software turns that record plus market data into a short news article.

The writing is automated. People do not edit each article before it goes live.
Automated content can contain errors, omissions, or stale numbers. Check the original filing before you rely on any figure.
Prices, market caps, ratios, and other stats come from third-party market data and may be delayed or wrong.
We cannot guarantee that any data shown is accurate or complete.

Hypothetical track records

Some alerts show a chart of how an insider, fund, politician, or analyst firm "did" against the S&P 500. Those returns are hypothetical and simulated.

We build them from disclosed positions and trades, priced against public market data. They are not real accounts and not realized profit.
They ignore commissions, slippage, taxes, fees, dividends, borrow costs, filing delays, and your own situation.
Past performance, real or simulated, does not indicate future results.

Charts and stat cards

Price charts show daily closing prices. Analyst forecast charts project a line to one firm's 12-month price target, which is that firm's opinion, not a prediction we make. Buy and sell bars count disclosed activity by quarter. None of these charts are investment advice.

No affiliation

Naming a company, fund, insider, analyst, or public official is not an endorsement of them, and we are not affiliated with them, any exchange, or any issuer of a security we cover. Ticker symbols are used only to identify securities.
